PCB Air-Bearing 200k rpm Spindle

The PCB-200A ATC is a highly efficient machining spindle that gives a maximum speed of 200,000 rpm. The spindle prevailing AC motor and front thrust bearing system deliver stability and accuracy; hence, this is an ideal choice for usage in particular CNC machine tools.

Air bearings (aerostatic bearings) use a gas film (air) to distinguish two surfaces in motion, removing the requirement for traditional lubricants and permitting frictionless movement. This tactic aids the moving parts in functioning smoothly and silently without constructing heat or undergoing wear. Thus, they are suitable for applications requiring precision and dependability, like measurement, precision machining, and semiconductor manufacturing.

Improved Surface Finish – Due to the inherently high accuracy of rotation of air bearings and low vibration, air spindles use in machining applications can produce surfaces with mirror finishes.
Cleanliness – Not requiring any liquid lubricants air spindles are suitable for use in clean rooms.
Ease of Maintenance – Air spindles do not require servicing. Air supplies must however be maintained.
