Each harmonic gearbox consists of three key components:

Flexspline – A flexible, thin-walled spline that enables smooth torque transmission.
Circular Spline – A rigid internal gear with a precisely engineered tooth profile.
Wave Generator – An elliptical bearing assembly that flexes the flexspline, creating the unique harmonic drive mechanism.

The controlled deformation of the flexspline, combined with the slight difference in the number of teeth between the flexspline and the circular spline, produces high reduction ratios with virtually zero backlash. This design ensures smooth, accurate motion and excellent torque transmission, making ENGINEX harmonic gear reducers ideal for high-precision applications.
